When I first moved to New York City from Easton, PA, in the late 70's, I lived in Greenwich Village and you could still feel the cool vibes from when Dylan & Co. ruled on MacDougal St. One night at the Kettle of Fish, a pub that not only Dylan but Kerouac before that had hung, I was able to play a song on a passed around guitar. It helped me establish a connection to my mentors. I am influenced by the Beat writers and their lifestyle as much as any musical influences. The Cost is released!
